A client consultant will act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our client accounts might face with accuracy and efficiency.

What You Will Do

  • Manage incoming queries via phone, chats, emails and tickets
  • Identify and assess clients’ needs to achieve satisfaction

  • Handle client and internal requests, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within a timely manner; following up to ensure resolution

Staff Accountant

Princeton, NJ - Full Time - Accounting

Beyond is seeking an experienced Staff Accountant for a complex role with immense growth opportunity. We are looking for a new team member that can assist in the development and maintenance of general accounting, procurement, and payroll operations for both Beyond and our associated non-profit; The Give Something Back Foundation. Beyond offers full benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401k, and Paid Time off starting day one. This role will be responsible for maintain and improving the accuracy of monthly operational accounting processes. 

 

 

What You Will Do

  • Accounts payable processing and recording.
  • Vendor management, including collecting vendor information forms and tax documents from all new vendors.
  • 1099 reporting.
  • T&E reimbursements and reporting, including review and approve Expense Path reports for all employees-ensuring accuracy and completion; process for payment.
  • Pay and review monthly credit card bills. Maintain inventory of credit cards that have been deployed.  Create expense reports for individual credit cards for reconciliation.
  • Maintain daily cash activity records and reporting.
  • Maintain ongoing development and generation of daily cash forecasts.
  • Maintain bank operating accounts and relationships for daily banking needs including bill payments, EFTs and deposits.
  • Participate in month-end, quarter-end and year-end closings in accordance with the finance calendar.
  • Perform monthly general ledger account analyses, identify and record adjustments.
  • Liaison with Business Groups and Support Groups on accounting, finance and reporting related matters.
  • Provide financial analyses and support as requested.
  • Provide audit support to independent auditors.
  • Assist in the documentation and maintenance of internal accounting controls, accounting policies, procedures and processes.
  • Maintain internal tracking of Beyond stock investors.
  • Assist with financial system integrations and conversions.
  • Prepare ad hoc reports and analyses as requested.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

 

Who You Are

  • Experienced Accounting professional with 4+ years of experience
  • Advanced Excel skills and ability to analyze large volumes of information required. 
  • Self-starting personality; ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.
  • Strong sense of teamwork and ability to work well with all levels of employees.
  • A sound understanding of operational accounting policies and practices.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills and the ability to influence decisions across departments.

  • Experience with RDBMS (MS SQL Server/Postgres) and NoSQL(MongoDB/Couch) databases
  • Experience with REST apis, both implementing and consuming
  • Experience working with popular Javascript frameworks, jQuery, Angular 2, React etc.
  • Experience with javascript testing tools such as jasmine, karma, chutzpah
  • Experience with package management tools such as npm, nuget, bower etc.
  • Experience using task runners such as gulp and grunt
  • Experience with logging libraries such as Serilog, NLog or log4net.
  • Experience working in a Lean-Agile environment preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree or comparable training and experience
  • 5+ Years working as a Software Engineer (or equivalent role)
  • Prior experience or understanding of Node.js and its use
  • Intermediate or better knowledge in native/hybrid mobile development

Benefits Administrator

Summary:

The benefits administrator position is responsible for directing and planning the day-to-day operations of group benefits programs (group health, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, worker's compensation, life insurance, travel and accident plan, flexible spending plan, 401(k) plan and retirement plan). The benefits administrator also provides excellent customer service, improves existing programs, and administers the company’s benefit programs.

 

What you will do

  • Serve as primary contact for plan vendors and third-party administrators
  • Coordinate transfer of data to external contacts for services, premiums and plan administration
  • Evaluate and revise internal processes to reduce costs and increase efficiency
  • Document and maintain administrative procedures for assigned benefits processes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable government regulations
  • Ensure timeliness and accuracy of required reporting and fees
  • Coordinate daily benefits processing 
  • Handle enrollments, COBRA, terminations, changes, beneficiaries, disability, accident and death claims, rollovers, QDROs, QMCSOs, distributions, loans, hardships and compliance testing 
  • Oversee maintenance of employee benefits files, maintain group benefits database and update employee payroll records
  • Gather employee data and oversee the processing of monthly billings for all group plans
  • Allocate group health and dental claims monthly and reviews quarterly
  • Perform plan audits. Prepare, collect and organize data for actuarial assessments
  • Review both short- and long-range cost estimates/projections and relevant statistical analyses regarding modifications in benefits programs and implementation of new programs
  • Survey industry trends and complete benefits surveys and review information obtained from the results
  •  Analyze complex benefits information 
  • Forecast trends and assist with future benefits designs
  • Develop specific recommendations for review by management
  • Provide customer service support to internal and external customers
  • Develop communication tools to enhance understanding of the company's benefits package
  • Design and distribute materials for benefits orientations, open enrollment, and summary plan descriptions
  • Provide training and support to group benefits associates, home office associates and the field staff
  • Provide backup services for other HR functions

 

Who you are

  • Bachelor's degree and three to five years of related benefits or employee benefit administration experience.
  • Ability to evaluate employee relations issues and troubleshoot
  • Relationship Management experience 
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment 
  • Computer proficiency and technical aptitude with the ability to use Microsoft products, including PPT, experience with HRIS and benefits databases
  • Project and team management/leadership skills and experience. Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment with associates 
  • Capability of effective planning and priority setting. Ability to manage several complex projects simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills and a thorough knowledge of plan designs. Ability to understand, evaluate and make judgment on the proposals (RFPs)
  • Knowledge of benefits contract language
  • Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including ERISA, COBRA, FMLA, ADA, Section 125, workers' compensation, Medicare, OBRA, and Social Security and DOL requirements
  • Excellent communication and organization skills
